I agree with your take ... branding is can over thought, overused and most often, not understood. 

What I worry about is when it becomes immobilizing to moving forward. Or worse, a LOT of money is spent on your &quot;branding&quot; efforts and you are disappointed when the sales don&#039;t roll in immediately.</description>

But like the media makes a big deal about a hole the size of a pea on a busy street, Social Media makes a big deal about marketing your brand, being your brand, exuding your brand from your pores, living your brand, hugging your brand.

So maybe it&#039;s all in our heads that our brand needs to be all around us, and ever moving circle surrounding all that we are.

But we need not forget at the end of the day, you are your own brand.</description>
